Teenage Naturals

Come one, come all! This is the blog made for you! I have searched up and down for blogs made specifically for teenagers trying to go natural. So I said "why don't I make one myself." Now I'm not the best at computers but I will use the skills that I have to help make teenagers part of the big natural hair community.

Teens nowadays still get taunted for having bad hair. If we have our natural hair, we get tormented for it not being straight, long and flowing like other races. Sometimes our hair may seem unmanageable to teens, so they opt for wigs, weaves and relaxers (yes that includes texlaxers). Some of us have natural hair and just don't know how to work and treat it, so it ends up breaking off and being unhealthy. Well good news has a arrived, for I am here to be your natural buddy!!

As a teenager myself, we tend to idolize over our seniors with long, healthy natural hair. Naptural85, kimmaytube, AFRICANEXPORT, LongHairDontCareLLC, MahoganyCurls etc. we want there hair but let's face it, we can't pay the price. I know a lot of teens are working nowadays but lets be honest, a lot of us don't. My parents won't even let me get a job. So we're broke and our parents don't want to buy the hair care products that our seniors seem to rave about.

It's a lot to take as a teen that wants to join the natural hair community, but hey, we can get through it, together (: xoxo Chinny
